Mike Bunt

Mike retired from the Air Force in July 2014. He joined the Air Force as a Communications Specialist and was assigned to the 48th Intelligence Squadron at Beale AFB, where he supported missions during OEF/OIF. Next, Mike moved to Air Force Recruiting Service, where he spent 4 years as an Enlisted and Officer Recruiter in the 313th Recruiting Squadron in Tonawanda, NY. Finally, Mike moved to Air Force Recruiting Services headquarters where he served as a Marketing Specialist. During his time in the Air Force, Mike earned his Bachelors degree in Human Resources from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.

Since his retirement, Mike has been serving veterans as a certified career coach, helping many veterans refresh and update their resumes. Mike has also served on multiple Veteran Employee Resource groups at UC Davis, Oracle, and Blue Shield of California. Mike also completed his Master’s degree in Communications from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys working on cars, woodworking, bar-b-queuing, and playing video games with his kids.

Kristen Robinson

Kristen is a Marine veteran who served from 2007 - 2012 with a 6 month deployment to Afghanistan in 2011. She was a helicopter engine mechanic, production controller, and worked for the squadron’s headquarters department in the training and operations office. Kristen has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Conflict Management and Resolution, and is pursuing a PhD in Industrial / Organizational Psychology.

She started helping veterans while working on her Master’s degree at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (2014 - 2016). Kristen continued her service to the veteran community while working for Oracle both in Chicago, IL and now in Rocklin, CA as a board member and a community leader for Oracle’s Military and Veteran Employee Network (MAVEN). She also worked with a veteran nonprofit in Chicago called Lift for the 22 as a membership counselor and event coordinator. Her passion for helping her military brothers and sisters has led her to working with Vet Overwatch as their secretary.

Outside of work and volunteering, Kristen enjoys reading, working out, cooking, and working on various arts and crafts projects.

Brad Barth

Brad retired from the Air Force in March 2020 after serving 20 years. He spent 5 years as a jet engine mechanic and 15 years in various positions in recruiting, helping transform thousands of lives. While serving, Brad earned his Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management from Tusculum University and his Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University.

Brad now helps veterans from all branches realize their educational goals as the Senior Manager for Military Outreach for Central and Northern California, Oregon, and Idaho for American Military University.

In his free time, Brad enjoys woodworking, cooking, and traveling. Born and raised in Charlotte, he’s a die hard Panthers and Tar Heels fan, and has been told he has an unhealthy love of bacon and tacos.
